# Duckly Race

<mark style="color:yellow;">**Duckly Race**</mark> is the first game in the <mark style="color:yellow;">**MyDuckly**</mark> ecosystem. To participate, you need to own a <mark style="color:yellow;">**Duckly**</mark> or <mark style="color:yellow;">**Duckly Genesis**</mark> NFT. The game consists of a duck race in an <mark style="color:yellow;">**asynchronous PvP**</mark> format, which means you can compete against other players without having to wait for a group to form.

When you click 'Run Now', the system looks for an ongoing race in which your NFT and wallet have not yet participated. If it finds an available race, your duck is randomly positioned in one of the free slots. If there is no ongoing race, a new one is created and your duck is placed in one of the five available positions.

The entire process is carried out in a <mark style="color:yellow;">**random and secure**</mark> manner, using a system that guarantees the impossibility of manipulating the results.

## Land and Race System

The <mark style="color:yellow;">**Lands**</mark> represent unique territories in the project's ecosystem, each with specific terrain characteristics that directly correlate with the race environments and backgrounds of <mark style="color:yellow;">**Duckly**</mark> and <mark style="color:yellow;">**Duckly Genesis**</mark> NFTs. This system offers two main advantages:

<mark style="color:yellow;">**Passive Income**</mark>: Land owners receive passive rewards on all races held on terrains corresponding to their Land type. The percentage of this reward is directly proportional to the rarity of the Land, creating a scaled incentive system that rewards investments in rarer assets.

<mark style="color:yellow;">**Terrain Affinity Advantage**</mark>: When a Duckly competes in a race whose terrain corresponds to its own background, it automatically receives the best position available at the time of participation. For example, if other players have already participated in the race and the best available position is second place, your Duckly will automatically be positioned there. This mechanic rewards the natural affinity of the NFT with its characteristic environment, creating a strategic advantage in competitions.

This mechanism creates a synergy between the characteristics of the NFTs and the racing system, encouraging strategies based on the natural affinities of Duckly with different types of terrain.

## Reward Multipliers in Races
