<mark style="color:yellow;">**Duckly Genesis**</mark> holders have exclusive access to premium features in the Duckly ecosystem. By keeping a Duckly Genesis in your digital wallet, you will be able to race with your Duckly Genesis in the <mark style="color:yellow;">**Duckly Race**</mark> and have exclusive breeding rights in the <mark style="color:yellow;">**Duckly Farm**</mark>. Duckly Genesis are the only NFTs in the collection that have <mark style="color:yellow;">**breeding**</mark> capabilities, allowing the expansion of your portfolio through the creation of new Ducklys. All <mark style="color:yellow;">**Ducklys**</mark> generated through the breeding process can be traded on the **Ronin Marketplace**, offering a unique monetization opportunity within the ecosystem.

## Rarity System

Each MyDuckly NFT features an innovative revelation mechanism based on a system of independent probabilities. With each reveal, an algorithm performs an individual drawing, following predefined probabilities for each collection, without considering previous results.

It's crucial to understand that each revelation is an isolated event. For example, in a collection of 100 NFTs with a 1% chance for legendary items, there is no guarantee that exactly one legendary item will exist. Since each revelation is independent, it's possible to have more or fewer legendary items than the percentage suggests - everything depends purely on luck at the moment of revelation.

The process is completely free and happens with a simple interaction: just click a button to discover the rarity of your item. This unique mechanic offers an interesting dynamic to the market, as it allows you to trade your NFTs even before revealing their characteristics, adding an extra layer of strategy and excitement to the process.

The rarity probabilities are distributed as follows:

| Rarity | Probability |
| ------------------------------------------------ | ----------- |
| <mark style="color:yellow;">**Legendary**</mark> | 0.5% |
| <mark style="color:yellow;">**Epic**</mark> | 1% |
| <mark style="color:yellow;">**Rare**</mark> | 5% |
| <mark style="color:yellow;">**Uncommon**</mark> | 11% |
| <mark style="color:yellow;">**Common**</mark> | 82.5% |

## Duckly Genesis Attributes

Duckly Genesis are characterized by four fundamental attributes that define their properties and capabilities within the ecosystem: Energy, Terrain, Gender, and Last Run. Each of these attributes plays a crucial role in the project mechanics and user experience.

1. <mark style="color:yellow;">**Energy:**</mark> Represents the vitality and action potential of the Duckly Genesis. This attribute is essential for determining the capacity to participate in activities within the ecosystem.
2. <mark style="color:yellow;">**Terrain:**</mark> Defines the natural environment where the Duckly Genesis has greater affinity and performance. This attribute directly influences the performance and strategies available for each token.
3. <mark style="color:yellow;">**Gender:**</mark> A characteristic that establishes unique interaction possibilities between Duckly Genesis, influencing aspects such as reproduction and development within the ecosystem.
4. <mark style="color:yellow;">**Last Run:**</mark> Records the temporal history of the last activity performed by the Duckly Genesis, allowing precise tracking of its participation in the ecosystem and influencing future interactions.

These attributes were carefully selected to create a dynamic and engaging system, where each characteristic contributes significantly to the overall project experience. More details about each attribute follow.

## Energy

The energy system is a fundamental component of the MyDuckly ecosystem. Each <mark style="color:yellow;">**Duckly Genesis**</mark> has an energy reserve that is consumed during its interactions in the environment. For each <mark style="color:yellow;">**action**</mark> performed, <mark style="color:yellow;">**1 unit of energy is debited**</mark> from your Duckly Genesis.

When your Duckly Genesis <mark style="color:yellow;">**runs out**</mark> of energy, it needs to be recharged to continue participating in the ecosystem. Recharging is done through the consumption of <mark style="color:yellow;">**Apples**</mark>, special resources that are generated exclusively by <mark style="color:yellow;">**Apple Trees**</mark> within the MyDuckly ecosystem.

This system creates a sustainable resource cycle and promotes strategic interactions between the different elements of the ecosystem, encouraging players to efficiently manage their energy resources.

| Rarity | Energy (Min) | Energy (Max) |
| ------------------------------------------------ | ------------ | ------------ |
| <mark style="color:yellow;">**Legendary**</mark> | 25 | 28 |
| <mark style="color:yellow;">**Epic**</mark> | 18 | 20 |
| <mark style="color:yellow;">**Rare**</mark> | 12 | 15 |
| <mark style="color:yellow;">**Uncommon**</mark> | 10 | 12 |
| <mark style="color:yellow;">**Common**</mark> | 8 | 10 |

## Terrain

Duckly Genesis possess a unique terrain attribute that integrates directly with the ecosystem's Land system. This mechanic was designed to create strategic synergies between assets and different applications within the MyDuckly platform.

When a Duckly Genesis is used in games or tools within the ecosystem, the compatibility between the asset's terrain and the application's environment can grant specific benefits to the user. This affinity system creates an additional layer of strategy and value for holders.

For example, in Duckly Race, a Duckly Genesis with terrain compatible with the race circuit will receive priority positioning on the starting grid, offering a significant strategic advantage. Each application within the MyDuckly ecosystem has its own set of benefits based on this terrain mechanic, which will be described in detail in their respective sections in this whitepaper.

This mechanic not only increases the intrinsic value of Duckly Genesis but also encourages users to develop strategies based on terrain compatibility to maximize their benefits within the ecosystem.

The distribution of terrains is uniform, with a 12.5% probability for each type. Since there are 8 different types of terrain, and each represents 12.5% of the total, the sum of probabilities is 100% (8 × 12.5% = 100%). This means that all terrain types have exactly the same chance of appearing.

## Last run

The timestamp of the last race is stored to control the interval between duck races. Since there is a limitation of one race per day for each duck, this record allows verification of whether enough time has passed for a new participation.
